Big Time Rush is an American pop boy band was founded in the year 2009. The group is comprised of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They initially signed with Nick Records in 2009 before transferring to Columbia Records. The group was featured in Nickelodeon's television series Big Time Rush. From November 28th, 2009 to July 25 of 2013, the show was on air. The pilot episode included "Big Time Rush" the group's debut promotional single. The group released three studio albums: BTR in 2010, Elevate 2011 and 24/Seven in 2013. The band took an indefinite hiatus from 2014 which lasted until 2021, when they resumed live shows and released the single "Call It Like I See It".
